By using this website, you agree to use it responsibly and to follow the specific requirements published for festival submissions, tickets, and events.

01 / USE

Using the WMIFF website

This website provides information about the World Music & Independent Film Festival, its mission, highlights, events, submissions, gala information, and related festival services.

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit unlawful, misleading, or harmful material. WMIFF may update, suspend, or remove website content when necessary to operate the festival or protect the site.

Submissions and festival rules

Submission requirements published by WMIFF include the category, an English log-line and short synopsis, and a work that has not already been released online. Incomplete entries are not considered, entry materials are not returned, and submission fees are non-refundable.

International submissions must be paid by credit card. US submissions may also use a money order payable to MJD Productions. Submission platforms may have additional terms that apply to the entry.

The full submission rules published by WMIFF remain the controlling festival guidance for eligibility, delivery, selection, screening, and participation.

03 / FESTIVAL ACCESS

Tickets, streaming, and events

Ticket dates, event information, and links may change. Always check the current WMIFF information page or the linked ticket provider before making a purchase or attending an event.

WMIFF currently states that online streaming is available only within the United States and U.S. territories. Proxy servers and VPN use are prohibited for streaming and may be detected during use.

A ticket or registration made through another provider is also subject to that provider’s checkout terms, refund rules, privacy policy, and conditions of entry.
